…while I am waiting for Excel to crunch a forecast for the projected size of my company’s housefile I decided to forge the first post of my new blog.

The intention here is to keep in touch with friends and family in various geographic regions. I also prefer this approach because it doesnt require me to maintain n social networks.

I come armed with my own domain, a web host, a digital camera with a movie mode, and an amazing California city to shoot it all within.

Some brainstorming for content or features that I would like to include here:

• integrated link to flickr album
• occasional video posts
• favicon
• banner pic
• customize php to remove annoying details from silverlight theme
• enable rss feed
• content pages (about, links, etc.)

This should give me plenty to keep me busy over the summer, and I will finally be able to share some of the most exciting things about my California Adventure with all of you.
